Medicare Plans for People with Medi-Cal (Medicaid)

If you need to stretch your health care dollar, there are a number of state-specific Medicare Advanatge plans for people who qualify for both Medicare and full Medi-Cal are known as “dual eligibles” or “Medi-Medis.” These plans provide access to coordinated, personalized care to help you use your benefits to stay healthy.

Medicare Advantage plans for people with both Medicare and Medicaid. These plans are geared for people who live in a community setting, receive financial assistance (such as SSI) from their State Medicaid program and have Medicare. These plans include all Medicare Part A (Hospital) & B (Doctor) benefits and Part D prescription drug coverage. Medicare Advantage Plans may offer extra coverage, such as vision, hearing, dental, and/or health and wellness programs. There are several plan types.
